Our unique location as a Cochrane based builder, means we are often asked to build acreages in all of the surrounding countryside just west, north and south of Cochrane . These clients had purchased 4 acres in the hamlet of Water Valley and needed help building their dream craftmsan bungalow.  “Cozy” and “comfortable” were the briefs that we had from this empty nest couple and we went to work designing a layout that was the perfect size for two people and their visiting family. We incorpoated a real wood burning stone fireplace and custom bookshelves for all their favorite items to display. We made sure to make the view of the surrounding forest the focal point and it really felt like you were in the trees when you were enjoying the main rooms. It was a such a serene setting in which to build a home and we absolutely loved getting to be a part of this build.
