These clients came to us dreaming about a French Country style custom home transplanted into a Calgary community. With traditional moulding details, a curved staircase and cast concrete fireplace surround there were lots of finishing details that we needed to get just right. We designed their floorplan from scratch to suit their families lifestyle and tastes and we ended up with a home unlike any other. Our finished carpenter really knocked it out of the park with the custom two-sided glass hutch that can be viewed from both the piano room and the nook. We also installed wood-beam trusses, unique wood doors and an exterior mounted metal spindle railing on their staircase that brings a very bespoke touch.  All of this during the Covid pandemic no less, which presented some supply challenges and uncertainty in the building industry, but we pushed forward and worked with some amazing trades people to get this one completed and the homeowners all moved in.
